Structure - Assessment Dept

The Assessment Dept. as the name indicates is directly responsible for assessing taxes from the public and private sectors in the state.

The Dept. is headed by Deputy Director The Dept. has two units i.e. P.A.Y.E. and Direct Assessment Unit.

Direct Assessment are Taxes paid by individuals other than those employed. The PAYE is responsible for assessing taxes from those in employments.
