The other taxes department has the following duties and functions:

1 - Its supervised the activities of all the motor licensing Authorities offices in the state.

2 - The department is responsible for the procurement of National Number Plates in the State.
     
3 - It received request for Number Plates in the State.
     
4 - Its submits monthly and Annual progress collection report.
     
5 - It operates a revolving account in two Bank zenith for Enhance Driving License and Intercontinental for National Number Plate.
     
6 - Its Replies all mails pertaining Motor Licensing in the states.
     
7 - Its Reconcile the Enhance Driving licence Scheme production by the Federal Road Safety Commission with the Sales of the Drivers Licence of the Motor Licence Offices.
     
8 - Its Reconciles the sales of all Motor Licensing offices with the Bank Statements.
     
9 - Its makes Returns of Form MVA1and the proof of ownership to the federal Road Safety Commission.
